This Week in Youth Group
Sunday, January 29, 6-8pm Lower Level
Topic: "From the Inside Out" - I heard recently that most people make a judgment about someone they meet in a matter of seconds - one study says that it happens in less than a second. Based on their clothes, hair, posture, facial expression, and a variety of other things, an initial impression is made. The only way a first impression can be overcome is by getting to know the person better and getting to know who they really are.
Jesus was not big on first impressions. He always seemed to see through the outward appearance to the real person. He talk to people, asked questions, and even reached out to touch them. We ought to work toward seeing people the way that Jesus did, from the inside out.
Mission Trip Parents Meeting on Sunday
This Sunday, January 29, 6:00-6:30pm - while the youth are enjoying dinner. Join us as we begin getting ready for the Summer Mission Trips. Time is short so we will start promptly at 6 in the Lower Level. Come on down with your youth!
